I'm an 18 year old senior in high school from South Dakota. This is my first blog and the first entry of this first blog. I doubt I will get many followers but just the fact that somebody somewhere may care what I have to say is enough to make me wanna do this blog. In the news a youg woman faked her assault which got me to thinking, why do people do such stupid things like that. I mean now someone comes out with a real assault and what's gunna happen? People won't believe them. That is my current event for the day. My final thought of today is on high school. When you start school as a little kid you think I can't wait to be one of the big 5th graders, than when you get to 5th grade the excitement of middle school becomes huge. Than when it's middle school it's three years until you're one of the cool high school kids. It's in middle school things start to change. Guys who have more friends that are girls than guys suddenly might be gay, guys who play football think they're just amazing, girls start to dress like their 25 instead of 12, and suddenly you have to be labled and have a group. Than comes high school. The land everyone thought was going to be just this good time, but sadly, it turns out that it isn't. The clicks get worse, classes get harder, and people feel more and more insecure. So that is why my final thought for the day is that everyone should respect everyone. No one person is better than another person and the we were all put on this earth for a purpose that could help everyone. So live and let live and respect eachoters differences not find their faults. In the word of the Beatles, "All you need is love!"
